On March 20th 2019, Spring happened and for many this means a change in the weather, which also means more time outside, and it means spring break for many. While parents often do not have the time off your kids do and this means, either day camp or staying at home with you, a friend or a relative.

Dust off those bikes, scooters, helmets and even those walking shoes. Try setting aside at least a minimum of 15 minutes, to spend outside with your child each day. Make a project of all the new things spring is bringing from flowers to leaves on a tree that was not there the other day, picking and making frivolous wishes with dandelions. If you do not have a yard then walk around your block or if you have more time go to the park. Share all the new things you see in your neighborhood, you might be pleasantly surprised and even make new friends.
